RAJOURI, Nov 4: Thannamandi police arrested an accused person and recovered stole items and cash from his possession.
The accused identified as Zaffar Javed, son of Mir, resident of Tota Morh, Thannamandi was nabbed by police party led by SHO Narinder Singh today from a hideout. He had stolen purse of one Mohd Ayub Khan, resident of Saj village while he was shopping at Thannamandi few days back. By using his two ATM cards , the accused made purchases worth Rs 30,000 from the market. The police also seized the items and recovered Rs 5000 cash stolen from his purse besides the ATM cards. A case has been registered against him.
