POONCH, Nov 4: The Block Medical Officer Surankote charge-sheeted three doctors and suspended 12 other Medical employees after they were found unauthorisedly absent from duty at Bafliaz and Chandimarh hospitals of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that BMO Surankote, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan on the first day of his taking over the charge conducted surprise visit to Govt Primary Health Centre at Bafliaz and found nine employees including Dr Farhat Naseem absent from duty.
He charge-sheeted the doctor engaged under NHM and suspended eight other employees. They are Khursheed Ahmed- Dental Assistant, Aftab Ahmed- Pharmacist, Mohd Khalik-Pharmacist, Anuj Vaid- Lab Tech, Maneeza Begum-FMPHW and Junior Staff Nurses- Shazia Kouser, Shahin Akhtar and Shabana Manhas.
At PHC Chandimarh, two doctors were chargesheeted and four employees were placed under suspension. The Medical officers are – Dr Irshad Ahmed Bhat and Dr Nusrat. Four others are- Mukhtiar Ahmed – Pharmacist, Zaheer Abbas- Lab tech, Nusrat Kouser and Salma Sheikh- both FMPHW.
Dr Khan also attached some employees of the SDH Surankote who were absent from duty for the last three days.
