JAMMU, Aug 28: The Government today asked management of all Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to look into demands of the employees including payment of arrears on account of Sixth Pay Commission.
An official order issued today by the Finance Department said pursuant to the agreement between high powered group of Government and members of Joint Consultative Committee of the employees associations, the management of all the PSUs has been directed to look into the demands of their employees including the payment of arrears on account of Sixth Pay Commission.
However, the order said, while taking any decision on payment of arrears, the internal resource position shall necessarily be taken into consideration by the PSUs as the State Government will not bear any liability on account of Sixth Central Pay Revision or the payment of arrears.
