JAMMU, Apr 17: Three student of KC Public School and one teacher have been selected as member of delegation of Indian school children visiting Malta, South Europe on April 23.
The students and teacher of KC Public School who will be the part of the delegation are Pushpinder Kaur, Head of Biology Department, Sumedha Chowdhary and Shiv Anand, students of Class XI and Anirudh Bhargav of Class X.
The students will showcase the culture of J&K in the course of their interaction with the students of Malta.
While speaking, Principal of the school underscored the need and relevance of such visits for school children in the world of today. He expressed hope that the students would return to Jammu with a richer and wider range of awareness about the world after their visit to Malta.
The High Commission of Malta in India on behalf of University of Malta is coordinating the visit in order to aware Indian school students about the education system in Malta including avenues for pursuing higher education in that country.
Fifteen students and five teachers from the state of J&K, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi have been selected for the delegation.
