JAMMU, Nov 7: A missing college girl has been traced by Janipur police from Assam.
As per police sources, on October 29, family members of a girl hailing from Top Paloura area lodged a complaint with Janipur police station that their daughter studying in IInd year went missing.
Acting over the complaint, a missing report was lodged and hunt was launched to trace out the girl.
On specific information, police team from Janipur police station was dispatched to Assam and the girl was recovered.
The girl was brought to Jammu and handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by ASI Gurbachan Singh recovered the girl under the supervision of SHO Janipur police station Inspector RS Bhau, SDPO West Vivek Shekhar Sharma, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
