Governor’s Secretariat commences functioning at Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 9: The Governor’s Secretariat in the Raj Bhavan, Jammu, commenced functioning here today. The Secretariat had closed at Srinagar on October 30.
Governor N. N. Vohra went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and directed the officers and staff to ensure cleanliness, courteous conduct in regard to all visitors, prompt disposal of all references, methodical record keeping, disaster management preparedness and proper maintenance of the entire Raj Bhavan estate. He also inspected the Raj Bhavan lawns and gardens and directed further improvement.
The Governor visited and reviewed the functioning of the Solar Power Plant and also went around the CRPF and J&K Police Camps in the Raj Bhavan.
Officers of the Governor’s Secretariat accompanied Mr Vohra during his rounds of the offices, gardens, security camp and other areas of the Raj Bhavan estate.
