AJKLTF discusses demands

JAMMU, Nov 9:  The working committee meeting of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) was held under the chairmanship of Maheshwar Parsad, working president of the Federation.
Other present were Rattan Chand Sharma, general secretary, Jagdish Singh Chouhan and Jagdish Koushik, ABRSM, New Delhi was chief spokes person and Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, Legislative Assembly was the chief guest along MLC Romesh Arora and Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East.
The day long meeting deliberated that the programme of ABRSM and Right to Education 2009 should be implemented in the State to improve the standard of education and child education.
Federation strongly condemned the Government for only making models schools and humiliating the teachers/ masters/ lecturers/ headmaster and Principals which is not the way to raise the standard of education. Federation felt deep concern on the transfers made in July and August 2015 with corruption, nepotism and favoritism.
The meeting also showed concern for not releasing the salary of teachers working under RMSA, SSA, and NPS and whose order for salary has issued by DSEJ from over all cadre strength but the grants are not released on the holy festival of Diwali.
Others who attended the meeting were Manjeet Singh, Krishan Kumar, Shiv Dev Singh, Neeraj Sharma, Darminder Singh, Arun Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Mohd Qasim Malik, Kuldeep Raj, Kuldeep Singh, Kulbushan, Krishan Kumar, Raghuvir Singh and Davinder Shastri.
