JAMMU, Nov 10: A delegation of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) led by its president Ravinder Raina advocate met the Secretary Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) today and apprised him about the problems being faced by the migrant applicants who have applied for various posts under PM package.
The delegation informed Secretary that examination for various posts may be conducted in Jammu as the applicants are not in a position to go to Srinagar because of climate and other problems in the Valley and shall be released of the burden of un-necessary expenditure.
In a handout issued here later the ASKPC said the Secretary agree din principle and accepted that the students should apply for change of examination centers which have to be submitted through the concerned administrative officers.
The Secretary also agreed that the examination for the posts reserved for migrant applicants should be conducted at Jammu as per their option of center as mentioned in the form.
