JAMMU, Nov 10: Trikuta Nagar police arrested seven gamblers along with Rs 45000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Trikuta Nagar police station conducted a raid and nabbed seven gamblers along with Rs 45000 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rajesh, Manoj Kumar, Adarsh Kumar, Randir Singh, Vishnu Goel, Madan Lal and Vijay Kumar.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar police station Inspector Naveen Angral made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Shazaad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
