NEW DELHI, Nov 12:
The State-owned NHPC today said it has completely shut down two units of Chutak power plant in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Units 2 and 3 of the Chutak power station are completely shut down due to certain technical reasons from October 25 and October 31, 2015 respectively,” NHPC told BSE today.
Earlier in September, NHPC had informed BSE that the Chutak power plant was completely restored on September 10, 2015.
The power facility is run-of-the-river scheme with an installed capacity of 44 mw (4X11 mw) and taps the Suru river in Kargil district. (PTI)
