Top leaders to attend Nitish’s oath-taking

PATNA, Nov 13:
All important leaders, opposed to the BJP’s brand of politics, will attend Chief Minisiter Nitish Kumar’s oath -taking ceremony  here on November  20 being hailed as a beginning of  fresh realignment of political forces.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi,Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Uttar Pradesh CM AkhileshYadav,West Bengal Chief Minister  Mamta Banerjee  and her Assam counterpart Tarun Gagoi are expected to attend the  function to be held at the historic Gandhi maidan here.
Former Prime Minister Deve Gowada,Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi,former  Jharkhand Chief Minister Babu Lal Marandi and a host of other top  leaders have also been invited to attend the ceremony.
RJD supremo  Lalu Prasad and JD(U) national president Sharad Yadav would be the main guests  at the function,state JD(U) president Basisth Narayan Singh said here  today.
The formal process for Government formation would begin after  the last meeting of the State, which is  scheduled tomorrow, and would also  recommend dissolution of the State Assembly.
Following the cabinet  recommendation, a meeting of the legislature party of the Grand  Alliance (GA) would be held the same day to formally elect Nitish  Kumar as its legislature party leader.
After the legislature party  meeting, the alliance leaders, led by Mr Kumar, would formally meet Governor Ramnath Kodind to stake claim for the formation of the  new Government.
Meanwhile, the historic Gandhi Maidan is being  spruced up for the oath-taking ceremony of the Chief Minister, who would take  oath for the fifth time.
