JAMMU, Nov 13: For carrying out work of PCC pole erections and other related works under R-APDRP project there will be shut down on different 11 KV feeders.
There will be shut down on feeder C-18 with effect from November 14 to 30 from 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm. Power supply to Krishna Nagar, Dogra Mohalla Science College will remain affected during shutdown period.
Moreover power supply to Canal Road Science College, Fisheries department, Pawan Ice Cream and AG office will be affected due to shutdown on feeder C-19 with effect from November 14 to 30, 2015 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Due to shutdown on various feeders power supply to Government Quarters, LIC office, Jullaka Mohalla, Karan Nagar, Kali Mandir near Jail area, Mubarak Mandi, back side of Hari Singh Palace, Tawi Vihar area, New Rehari, Old Rehari, PWD quarters, Meridian Palace, Dogra Hall, back side of Hari Singh Mahal, Peer Kho Mandir shall remain affected with effect from November 14 to 30, 2015 from and 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.
There will be shut down on feeder DG-2 with effect from November 14 to 30, 2015 from 8 am to 11 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm due to which power supply to Danis Gate, Christian grave yard and JDA Park will remain affected.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out replacement work of Disc Insulator strings emanating from Barn Grid Station, 132 KV D/C Barn-Katra Transmission will be shut down for five days from November 14 to 18 from 9 am to 5 pm.
During the shut down, the power supply to district Reasi will remain affected. However, the power supply to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine will be maintained by Sub-Transmission Division Udhampur through 132/33 KV Jhajjar Kotli Grid Sub-Station.
