JAMMU, Nov 13: RS Pura police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 1560 stake money and playing cards from Tali Morh area.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from RS Pura police station conducted raid in Tali Morh area and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 1560 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Gupta, son of Bawa Ram, Sobat Kumar, son of Dass Ram, Som Nath, son of Sohan Lal and Ramesh Chander, son of Phanga Ram, all residents of RS Pura.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura police station Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Randheer Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
