JAMMU, Nov 13: A meeting of Sangram Sena was held under the chairmanship of Ram Rattan Raina, president of the Sena wherein they discussed the deplorable condition of Dewan Mandir and sught for its immediate development and maintenance.
The members of Sena demanded that 180 year old, Dewan Mandir be handed over to Trust they said adding that the land which was handed over to JDA, Jammu for parking purposes and its income out of parking is being now being misused and further added that this amount may be utilized for maintenance of the temple premises.
The meeting also appealed the State Government to look into the matter gracefully and preserve the sensitivity of the Temple at all costs, besides civic conditions, development of the temple be guaranteed in the interest of the public.
