RAMBAN, Nov 14: A teenage girl allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Dalwas area here today.
As per police sources, a 15-year-old girl identified as Roma Devi, daughter of Bishan Dass of Dalwas allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to District Hospital Ramban, from where she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where she was responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
