Science Express Special Train to reach Samba on Nov 21

JAMMU, Nov 14: The Science Express Climate Action Special Train will reach Samba Railway Station on November 21 and will remain halted there till November 23, 2015 up to 1 pm.
This is an innovative mobile exhibition, mounted on a 13 coach AC train, which was jointly flagged off by the Ministry of Railways, Science and Technology and Environment, Forest and Climate on October 15, 2015 from Safdarjung Railway Station.  Eight coaches of the train have been developed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on the climate change initiatives, two coaches are on the Biotechnology theme, one coach on the Science innovation theme and two coaches are on the Joy of Science (JoS) laboratory theme.
This Science Express Climate Action Special Train will travel across the country covering over 19500 kms for eight months, halting at 64 stations located in 20 States.
At Samba Railway Station, the Science Express Exhibition will remain open to visitors from 10 am to 5 pm from November 21 to November 23, 2015.
