JAMMU, Nov 14: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Rajesh Gupta kick started the construction work of the lane at Prem Nagar in ward number 7 to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.75 lakhs.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by JMC official RK Koul and senior BJP leaders Karan Singh, Daleep Gupta, Gulshan Mahajan, Girdhari Lal and Balraj Gupta.
While speaking, Rajesh Gupta gave on the spot instructions to the officials of the JMC officials present on the occasion to complete the works of the area in stipulated time.
He also instructed the concerned authorities to take due care while implementing the works so that no inconvenience will be caused to the general public in the area.
Rajesh Gupta added that the area of Raghunath Bazar and Hari Market would be developed as heritage sites and he would request the Government for additional funds for the beautification of the area.
Among others present were Vijay Gupta, Ashok, Bodhraj, Pinky, Sushma, Peter, Gopal, Kuldeep, Amit, Hari Om, Rajinder Gupta and Nischal.
