BARAMULLA, Nov 15: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir today announced Rs 3 crore Water Supply Scheme for Hadipora, Parrypora, Yadipora and Lorihama.
The announcement was made during a public meeting at Hadipora Rafiabad. The Water Supply Scheme would provide portable drinking water facility to about 6500 souls belonging to the villages.
The MLA called for completing the schemes on war foot basis and directed the concerned officers to invite tenders immediately. Chief Engineer PHE, officers of district administration and other officers of PHE Department besides senior PDP leader Dilawar Mir were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, the MLA chaired a meeting of the engineers of PHE Department at Baramulla, wherein he issued directions for construction of water supply scheme for the area.
The MLA also announced a Modern Playground for the Hadipora besides opening of J&K Bank Branch for the village. He said that all commitments made to public will be fulfilled in a phased manner.
