BHADERWAH, Nov 15: A Part-I girl student of Government Degree College (GDC) ended her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Pandku Bhalara area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bhaderwah police station.
As per police sources, a Part-I girl student of GDC namely Sapna Devi (18), daughter of Krishan Kotwal, a resident of Pandku Bhalara committed suicide by inhaling some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last.
The body of the girl was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
