UNDATED, Nov 16: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has always said he is ready to play a role to help dialogue and peace on the Korean peninsula, the UN spokesman’s office said in a statement today.
The spokesman’s office said it had no comment on a report by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency earlier on Monday that Ban planned to visit North Korea this week, citing a senior UN source. (AGENCIES)
