REASI, Nov 18: Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past few months.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Reasi police station laid a naka at village Jeri and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest since July, this year. He was trying to leave the jurisdiction of Reasi, but was nabbed by the police.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Saleem, son of Mohammad Mussa, a resident of Kansi Patta.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 110/15 under Section 223 and 224 RPC with police station Reasi. He escaped the judicial custody from District Court Reasi and was evading his arrest since July 4, 2015.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
