JAMMU, Nov 21: A deputation of retired employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) called on the Minister for Transport Abdul Gani Kohli and put forth him their demands for early redressal.
The deputationists among other things pleaded for service benefits which also includes the outstanding arrears of the retired employees.
The deputationists Ajit Atyal, M. S. Qureshi, Isher Singh, Krishan Lal Sharma and Sulieman Singh thanked the Minister for paying heed on their demands and hoped that their pending demands would be solved by the Government on priority basis.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the deputationists. He said that appropriate steps would be taken to redress their grievances.
