Clerical Staff Association urges CM to remove pay anomalies

JAMMU, Nov 22: A meeting of Apex Body and Core Group of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association Jammu Province was held today to take stock of the problems being faced by the cadre.
While addressing the press conference, Ravi Singh Bhau flayed the anti clerical cadre policies of the State Government who after reaching a numbers of agreements failed to concede the just and genuine demands of this cadre.
He said the State Government is hood winking the clerical cadre by giving false assurances and not implementing its various agreements.
He appealed to the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter so the orders for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre are issued at the earliest.
He further said when the Pay Anomaly Committee has already submitted its report regarding the anomalies of Clerical Cadre, why the State Government is not implementing the same.
He said the Central Government is going to implement 7th Pay Commission soon but the State Government has failed to implement the recommendations of Pay Anomaly Committee in favour of clerical cadre.
The meeting decided to hold pen down strike on December 1 and 2, 2015 if their demands are not fulfilled at an earliest.
