Homage paid to Bhagwan Sai Baba on 90th B’day

JAMMU, Nov 23: A large number of devotees converged today at Sai Dham, Paradise, Bohri, Talab Tillo, to pay homage to Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the auspicious occasion of his 90th birthday.
On the occasion, Sai Dham Hall was aesthetically decorated with banners, buntings and flowers of different hues.
The programme started with ‘Jyoti Prajwalan’. Thereafter, Balvikas children of the Education Wing of the SSS Organization, J&K, recited Vedic Hymns and presented an admirable drama on the life and teachings of Sai Baba.
Dr Maharaj Krishan Turki, secretary, Sri Sathya Sai Sewa Organization, J&K, presented a report on the various activities of health care, education, gram sewa, Narayan sewa, etc undertaken by Sri Sathya Sai Sewa Organization. Purushottam Sharma spoke on the life, mission, teachings and commandments of Sai Baba.
Sai Baba’s earlier illuminating Divine Discourse was also played on the PA system in which he had exhorted the audience to transform themselves by inculcating the human values of Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prem and Ahimsa.
This was followed by Soul stirring Bhajans, Aarti and distribution of Prasad to the entire assembly.
The cake cutting ceremony was also performed amidst joyous applause of devotees.
