Srinagar, Nov 23: A girl in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district died after she and her mother attempted suicide today.
A police spokesman said a woman and her daughter (names withheld) hailing from Nowgam village of Dooru in the district consumed some poisonous substance at their home.
“The duo was immediately shifted to the District Hospital Anantnag where the girl breathed her last. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
