UDHAMPUR, Nov 23: A married woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping in Nallah Ghouran in Latti area here today while her husband also sustained injuries in attempt to save her life.
Reports said that following a trifle in the family, 32 years old Neelma Devi, wife of Kuldeep Singh went out of house late evening and jumped in the nullah from a slope. In an attempt to save his wife, Kuldeep Singh also jumped into nullah and received injuries.
On getting information, Ghordi police rushed to the spot and fished out body of the deceased woman. Police has also registered a case in this connection.
