HYDERABAD, Nov 23: NumberMall, a payment gateway services platform, today announced acquisition of all the businesses of Delhi-headquartered BankSmarts Solutions for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will extend NumberMall’s analytics capability, customer reach and merchant offers.
The combination is expected to enable new classes of products and services that meet customer needs in assisted e-commerce, NumberMall said in a statement.
“With this acquisition, we are adding the unparalleled analytics capabilities of BankSmarts to NumberMall’s competencies,” NumberMall Founder and CEO Kiran Gali said.
Incepted in 2012, Hyderabad-based NumberMall has so far serviced more than 30 million customers on its platform through 16,000 touch points.
Personalisation through analytics would help its users to drive sales much better and faster, Gali said.
“The assisted e-commerce space is addressing a very large opportunity, and NumberMall is one of the leaders in the space,” BankSmarts Founder and CEO Subinder Khurana said.
“We believe that analytics will play an increasingly larger role in creating value for the customers and position the company even better to dominate the space,” he added. (PTI)
