UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: A youth attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at his residence in village Stani, here today.
According to the police reports, Rakash Kumar (18), son of Charan Dass of Stani Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance and fell unconscious. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
