The mishap that happened at Katra today, in which a helicopter of Himalayan Air Services got crashed and seven people lost their precious lives is really shocking. Goddess Vaishno Devi grant external peace to the departed souls.
Last month, I visited the holy Shrine alongwith my family and observed that the choppers took flights one after another continously for hours without any break, and persons engaged by the Air services show so much hurry that they do not give even a minute’s time to the passenger to board in and board out. They even do not let passengers tie the safety belts and always put the lives of passengers in danger.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board should take serious note of the incident and take stern action against the air services who do not abide by the norms set by the Aviation Department and re-gain the lost confidence of passengers who want to visit the holy Shrine by air.
