NEW DELHI, Nov 28: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section to select destinations eased by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today following easy availability of trucks against restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, easy availability of trucks in the markets mainly led to a fall in freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Goa freight rates were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 66,500, Rs 49,500 and Rs 49,500.
