Army conducts medical camp at Mangat village

RAMBAN, Nov 29: Army in its efforts to reach the remotest of the locations and provide Medical facilities to people of Jammu & Kashmir, organised a medical camp at Mangat village of Ramban district today.
The camp was arranged by 23 Rashtriya Rifles battalion, based at Nachlana under Delta Force.  A team of doctors and specialist from Sub- Division hospitals, Banihal and the Medical officers from Army provided Medical support and care to the local populace. Free Medical prescription and medicines were provided to all patients. About 850 patients from adjoining villages of Mangat, Mohu and Bawe of Khari tehsil availed the facilities of the medical camp.
The Medical camp was organised as a humanitarian initiatives by Delta Force under `Operation Sadbhavana’ which brought the much needed medical facilities at the door-steps of remote villages of Khari Tehsil of Ramban district.
The village locals responded by expressing their gratitude and desire for more frequent Medical camps in future.
