JAMMU, Nov 29: National Conference (NC) Minority Cell in its meeting here today has expressed apprehensions about half hearted move of State Government in implementation of PM’s package for Kashmiri migrants.
The Cell in its Core Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of M K Yogi its president and which was also addressed by its chairman and former MLC, B L Bhat said that Government recently announ-ced 3000 job package for the Kashmiri migrants with construction of 6000 quarters for their rehabilitation in Valley but within a  week there was no mention about the construction of 6000 quarters for migrants in Valley while constituting the Cabinet Sub Committee for implementation of PM package.
Both Mr Yogi and Mr Bhat said it appears that State Government is having double standards regarding implementation of PM’s package for Kashmiri migrants.
They said without construction of quarters giving jobs to the youth will have no fun as the employees already appointed in Valley under PM package are facing accommodation problems.
The meeting said that Government should clear its stand on implementation of package. It also highlighted various other problems of displaced Pandits including granting of RBA status to displaced people from RBA areas in Valley, bifurcation of ration cards and timely payment of ration and relief. It alleged that in Delhi the migrants are not paid ration and relief in time while the bifurcation of ration cards has also been stopped.
The meeting was attended by M L Pandita, Bal Krishan Bhat, Amit Koul,  Ramesh Bharti, Abhay Bakaya and others.
