LS condoles deaths of people in Paris terror attacks

NEW DELHI : The Lok Sabha today condoled the deaths of people who lost their lives in Paris terror attacks.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said Paris was struck by dastardly terror attacks on November 13, killing over 120 innocent people, mostly youth.
She said the attacks were an act of cowardice and an attack on liberal values, multiculturalism and individual liberties.
”We share the pain of the people of France in this hour of tragedy and stand shoulder-to-shoulder in ensuring that such assaults on humanity do not recur anywhere,” the Speaker said.
”It is now time for the world to speak in one voice and act in unison against terrorism,” she said. The House conveys condolences and prayers for the victims, the Speaker said. (UNI)
