Clerical cadre defers strike on assurance of Drabu

JAMMU, Nov 30: Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association, Jammu Province, today decided to defer the two day pen downs strike starting from tomorrow on the assurance of Minister of Finance Haseeb Drabu.
As per a release the Association said that its counterparts in Kashmir Valley have also reciprocated in the same way as the Finance Minister has given an assurance to the representatives of the Association whom he called for dialogue in his office chambers today.
It said the Finance Minister assured the representative of the association that matter is under active consideration and the issue regarding pay anomalies will be solved at an earliest.
The representatives of the Association who were part of delegation included Ravi Singh Bhau, its president, S. Sukhbir Singh, general. secretary, Ravi Kumar, Anil Mehta, Ravinder Singh (Planning), Bashir Malik, Yash Paul Sharma, Brijesh Mehta, Onkar Chand, Hamid Husain, Jaideep Singh, Rajinder Singh, Kirpal Singh, Vikas Gupta, Ranbir Singh, Avtar Krishan, Parkash Singh, Yash Pal and Vishal Gupta.
While addressing the gathering the Association leaders appealed the cadre to remain united and ready for next course of action if the orders regarding Pay Anomalies will not be issued at the earliest.
