DODA, Dec 1: Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum held a protest here, in which large number of ReT teachers took part.
The protest was led by Chairman of the Forum Farooq Ahmad Tantray and District President Isahq Rasheed Malik.
The protestors were demanding release of salaries pending for the last 6 months, regularization of ReTs who have completed five years service two years back, 10 per cent NPS share of SSA teachers, arrear of converted ReTs for one year since June 26, 2013, etc.
The protesters in the shape of rally marched from CEO Office to DC Office and submitted memorandum to DC.
Speaking on the occasion, senior leader of the Forum Zakir Butt lambasted the Government for its failure in redressing the core issues of ReTs and for harassing this community by different tactics.
Others who spoke were Kaiser Singh Rana, Ashiq Zargar, Tariq Hussain, Mehboob Alam, Shabir Ahmed, Isahq Dar, Abdul Hamid, Aijaz Wani, etc.
