Power shut down

JAMMU Dec 2: In order to carry out installation of 33 KV Isolators at village Riti, tehsil Ramnagar from Grid Station Battal Manwal to Ramnagar, the shutdown of 33 KV Ramnagar line is expected.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Ramnagar, Chowki and Basantgarh will remain affected on December 3 and December 4   from 10 am and 2 pm.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the rectification of hotspots, routine/preventive maintenance of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn and Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line, the shutdown of 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line and 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn has also been proposed.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to areas fed from Grid Station Canal, Pouni Chak, Katra, Rajouri, Draba, Chandak, Jourian and Grid Station Barn will remain affected on December 6 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
Similarly, in order to raise the ground clearance by way of insertion of pole and repair the line near JK Resorts at Trikuta Nagar Extension, power supply to the areas fed from 33 KV GG-2 line emanating from 132/33 KV Gird Station Gangyal, power supply to Industrial Area Gangyal fed from G-5 & G-6 feeder, part of Trikuta Nagar and its adjoining areas fed from Railway Station Trikuta Nagar will remain affected on December 3 from 9 a. m. to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the development works under R-APDRP power supply to Gandhi Nagar, Ext, Shastri Nagar, Rampura, Nanak Nagar and its adjoining areas fed from 11 KV Feeder N-2 emanating from 33/11 KVA R/Stn Nanak Nagar will remain affected on December 4 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Similarly, in order to carry out the development works under R-APDRP power supply to Greater Kailash and its adjoining areas fed from 11 KV Feeder GK-1 emanating from 33/11 KVA R/Stn Greater Jammu will remain affected on December 5 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the development works under R-APDRP power supply to Marble Market, Ext. Trikuta Nagar, Delli, Hari Vihar, Ambica Colony, Langer, Swarn Vihar and its adjoining areas fed from 11 KV Feeder G-3 emanating from 33/11 KVA R/Stn Gangyal will remain affected on December 5 and 7 from 9 am to 1 pm.
The shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
