POONCH, Dec 4: The office bearers of SKUAST-Teachers Association Jammu visited Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) / Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Rajouri and Maize Breeding Sub Station (MBSS) / Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Poonch for interaction with the scientists and experts.
The scientists apprised the SKUAST -TAJ team, led its president Vikas Sharma, about various initiatives that can improve and ensure efficient delivery of services to the farmers of the region. Besides highlighting shortage of non teaching staff, strengthening of watch / ward facility, the scientists also stressed for the abolishment of contract system.
General Secretary SKUAST-TAJ Dr Vivek M Arya assured the scientists that their issues will be taken on priority basis with the University authorities for immediate redressal.
The visiting team comprised of Dr Pardeep Kumar Rai, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr Arvind K Ishar, Dr Narinder Panotra, Dr Saurabh Gupta, Dr Rohit Sharma, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Dr Vishal Sharma, Dr Vikas, Dr Parul Gupta, Dr Muneeshwar and others.
