KISHTWAR, Dec 4: The students and youths residing in Sub-Division Padder took out a protest rally today.
Large number of students and youths assembled at Government Higher Secondary School, Atholi and took out protest rally, which concluded at Chinar Chowk, Gulabgarh.
The protestors raised slogans in favour of their demands including opening of Degree College and ITI at Padder.
The protestors said that the Government is not sincere towards their future and are giving them step motherly treatment.
They alleged that local MLA and Minister Sunil Sharma openly announced that Degree College and ITI will be made functional during current academic session but unfortunately this remained confined to announcements only.
The protestors demanded immediate establishment of Degree College and ITI at Padder, so as to redress the hardships being faced by the locals youths especially students, who wish to go for higher studies.
