Raina for speedy implementation of all GoI schemes

NOWSHERA, Dec 4: The second day of Public Information Campaign,  organised by Press Information Bureau, (PIB) devoted to implementation of Government schemes besides imparting awareness about various other beneficial programmes launched by Government of India.
Ravinder Raina, MLA, Nowshera, was the chief guest on the occasion while  Kartar Singh SDM, Sunderbani was the guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina commended the endeavour of Press Information Bureau for organizing such result oriented awareness campaigns in remote and border areas of the State.
He advised the officials engaged with implementation of various flagship schemes at grassroots level to work with sincerity in order to achieve tangible results. Ravinder Raina exhorted upon the common masses to avail maximum benefits of various Centrally sponsored schemes for the welfare of the people. It is a duty of every individual to fulfil the dream of Prime Minister of the country to safe guard the girl child as the sex ratio has been declining at an alarming pace, he added. The main focus of his speech was the need for practical and speedy implementation of Government schemes at the grass-root level.
In the workshops on social security schemes/ preservation of environment/ promotion of handicrafts/National rural drinking water programme the experts from the concerned departments threw light on various developmental schemes related to their departments for the benefit of common masses.
Sunil Koul, Media & Communications Officer, PIB presented the Vote of Thanks and expressed his gratitude to the participants for deliberating on issues related to the common masses at the grass root level.
