JAMMU, Dec 4: JK Police Public School had organized Inter-School Extempore Competition in the School Auditorium in which 15 Schools and 30 students participated.
The students were given the topic on the spot and were allotted maximum 4 minutes and minimum 3 minutes to speak. They were judged on five point scale. The Judges of the competition were Dr Gopal P Sharma and Dr Atul Sharma.
1st Prize was won by Anchit Proach, 2nd prize was won by Prapti Chattoo of Delhi Public School and the 3rd prize was bagged by Eshita Verma of APS Jammu Cantt. Consolation prize was won by Vaibhav of Delhi Public School.
The winners and the participants were awarded by the chief guest DIG Akshoor Ahmed Wani.
Deputy Director Prosecution, Purshotam Sharma also blessed the students and appreciated their efforts.
Principal of the School, Sanjeev Pradhan said that these competitions help the students to improve their communication skills and learn the new ways of presenting their thoughts.
