Dry ginger, kalaunji rise on fall in supply

NEW DELHI, Dec 5:  Dry ginger and kalaunji prices rose by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today largely supported by fall in supplies from producing belts against rising demand from local parties and stockists.
Further, export enquiries supported the upside.
Dry ginger and kalaunji prices edged higher by Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 20,700-25,700 and Rs 20,700-28,200 per quintal, respectively.
Increased buying by stockists and exporters against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up dry ginger and kalaunji prices at the wholesale kirana market here, traders said.
