JAMMU: The upper reaches of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine situated in the Trikuta Hills of Reasi district witnessed season’s first snowfall.
The first snowfall of the season was recorded last evening thus dipping the temperature from normal.”There was no snowfall at the Bhawan but at the upper reaches of the Trikuta Hills,” an official here today said.
He said the rush of pilgrims is still there despite chill and severe cold. Meanwhile due to fresh snowfall in the mountainous belts of Jammu region, cold weather conditions have tightened their grip in the winter capital. (AGENCIES)
