KATRA, Dec 12: Katra Police today nabbed an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past one month.
Police team, led by SHO Katra, conducted a raid at Talwara and apprehended the absconder, namely Gulzar Ahmed of Chowka Nallah, tehsil Chenani in Udhampur.
The arrested accused was facing trial in JMIC Katra in case FIR No.297/2012 U/S 48 (a) Excise Act, 188/RPC P/S Katra. A warrant was issued under section 512/CrPC from Munsiff JMIC Katra against the said absconder on 05.11.2015 and was evading his arrest since then.
The absconder has been arrested and produced in the court of law.
