One killed, 18 injured in Valley mishaps

Srinagar, Dec 12: A person was killed and eighteen others were injured in separate accidents across Kashmir Valley on Saturday.
A police official said a vehicle bearing registration number JK03B 6133 skidded off the road at Sedow near Chotipora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district resulting in death of a person identified as Muhammad Amin Dar. The accident left three other persons including two girls injured who were identified as Ruby Jan, Fiza Jan and Bashir Lone respectively. The injured persons have been hospitalized.
In another mishap, the official said, a passenger bus bearing registration number JK09 – 0648 turned turtle while negotiating a curve near Khumriyal grid station at Cheerkote in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to 15 persons. The injured persons were immediately rushed to hospital for treatment.
