NCP celebrates Sharad Pawar’s 75th birthday

JAMMU, Dec 12: State NCP under the chairmanship of former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh, State NCP chief, celebrated the 75th birthday of NCP founder and National president, Sharad Pawar here at Jammu.
Whille addressing the media and senior leaders of the party, Singh said Sharad Pawar reserved engineering seats in the private colleges of Maharashtra for the children of Kashmiri migrants, children of Military and paramilitary forces serving in J&K and also for the children of J&K Police and children of civil servants.
Singh said under the dynamic leadership of Sharad Pawar the NCP has achieved a lot and has grown from strength to strength and became a national party just after one year of its formation in 1999.
While speaking on the occasion Thakur Randhir Singh said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi described Sharad Pawar’s political career as one born out of productive pursuits. The Prime Minister praised Sharad Pawar’s modern and scientific approach to agriculture and his contributions to the agriculture sector in India. The Prime minister released a book ” On my Terms” written by Sharad Pawar.
