NGFOA delegation takes up issues with CCF

JAMMU, Dec 13: All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association (NGFOA) delegation met the Chief Conservator of Forests Jammu Roshan Jaggi and discussed the burning issues of the Non-Gazetted cadre officials of the Forest Department here today.
The NGFOA members from various Forest divisions of Jammu region earlier held a detailed meeting under the leadership of State president Sheikh Bashir Ahmed  and provincial president for Jammu Ravi Kumar at the Forest complex Dogra Hall here. Vice president Gurcharan Singh and general secretary Bhopinder Singh also spoke on the occasion besides Divisional head of each unit including Kathua, Billawar, Jammu, Rajouri, Udhampur,  Ramnagar, Nowshera, Reasi, Ramban Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar etc.
After discussing  all the issues a delegation met the CCF Jammu Mr Jaggi and took up their issues with him. They demanded early conduct of DPC of all cadre as employees were facing stagnation, clearance of all pending SRO-43 cases, proper transfer policy, fixation of seniority, risk allowance, two and half days extra pay etc.
The CCF gave  patient hearing and assured the delegation to discuss their issues at the higher level and get them  resolved. The Association also appreciated the act of Forest officials who have evicted more than 200 kanals of land  and maintained that they should be felicitated.
