JAMMU, Dec 13: A 21-year old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Yard No 5, Transport Nagar, Narwal in city outskirts.
According to police spokesperson, the youth identified as Naresh Kumar son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Ramnagar (Udhampur) was found hanging this morning with the branch of a tree above a stationary truck, with which he was working as a cleaner.
On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
