JAMMU, Dec 13: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Surinder Ambardar, today attended a public meeting at Laxmipuram, Chinore, in city outskirts and took stock of grievances of the local residents.
The meeting was organized by Welfare Association of Sector A1/B1 Laxmipuram, Chinore, Jammu.
During the meeting, the speakers took up various issues like macadamization of road leading towards Laxmipuram, acute shortage of water, cleansing of lanes and drains and installation of street lights in the area with the MLC and appealed him to take up all their issues with concerned authorities.
The MLC assured the gathering that all their issues will be solved shortly. He passed on spot directions to AEE JMC to redress the problems of the people of Laxmipuram.
Meanwhile, the MLC announced to install an electric transformer in the area from his Constituency Development Fund.
