JAMMU, Dec 13: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today urged the State Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu to earmark sufficient funds in view of 7th Pay Commission recommendations which are likely to be accepted by J&K Government during financial year 2016-17.
Interacting with media persons here NMC president, Subhash Shastri, expressed hope that Chief Minister and Finance Minister who have the reputation of taking bold decisions will surely put proper and effect mechanism in place for implementation of the Pay Commission recommendations in respect of State Government employees and pensioners and also regularization of nearly 61,000 daily rated workers working in various departments of the State Government.
Pleading the cause of clerical cadre of the State Government, Shastri also reminded the present regime to rationalize and settle the anomalies existing in the pay structures of clerical cadre under SRO 93.
