JAMMU, Dec 14: Troops of 37 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group (SOG) today recovered arms, ammunition and explosives from Bheri Rakh in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district.
Reports said Army and police conducted joint search operation in Bheri Rakh this morning after developing an information about dump of arms, ammunition and explosives lying there.
Recoveries made from the spot included three UBGL grenades, four Chinese grenades, one Chinese pistol with one magazine and 25 rounds, four AK magazines, 250 AK rounds and five detonators fitted with electric wire.
Army and police conducted searches in the area after recoveries. However, no arrests were made from the spot.
